Wardrobe staple's

Here is a walk-through my Wardrobe staples that will get you through any outfit issues. These pieces are so easy to mix and match, I practically have my own dress assistant like Cher had in Clueless.

The basic colour palette for a staple wardrobe starts with the three basics White, Grey and Black. Then the classic Blue and White stripes with the introduction of a new season piece like a lace tee in metallic gold or a peplum shape.

Lace tee- Zimmerman.

I get so much wear out of a great pair of jeans so of course at they are a wardrobe staple, I suggest a blue wash for everyday and black pair for day and night. The next staple is a classy pair of patterned pants that you can wear throughout the seasons, They are also so easy to dress up with heels. As for skirts, I have a Zimmerman Silk skirt that i have had for a few years now and it goes with everything, its such a flattering skater shape as well. A new season piece like this pencil shape metallic skirt is great for an easy update.

Again my staples are based around a simple colour palette of black, white and khaki. A (faux) fur vest is so reliable when it comes to winter, throw it over everything for warm and style. The classic white blazer and Black leather jacket don't even need to be explained. While the khaki parka which is especially popular this season is great for wearing in the warmer months as a wind-breaker over a tank or over a jumper and jeans in winter.

Now to my favourite part of the wardrobe, the shoes! A great pair of ankle boots are pretty obvious, I like to have a classic pair of black and beige boots. A heeled pair and a flat pair are important for everyday and nighttime wear. The next staple is a good pair of heels, I like to mix it up with whats in season as well as having a great pair of pumps. The last staple is a comfy and stylish pair of flats for wearing to the shops and walking around uni.
Beige boots- Jeffery Campbell / Cheetah heels- Wittner / Flats- Asos / Black boots- PeepToe /           Heels- Asos

Accessories are so much fun because you can change them as the trends go by. A black bag is the most perfect mix and match piece for the wardrobe, I like to look for gold detail in the zips or studs. Backpacks are all the rage at the moment especially since they are so useful for going to uni and when your traveling on the bus or train like i do. I like to invest in a lasting style of sunnies in tortoise shell since they aren't as harsh on the face as black. As for jewelry i tend to go for gold since it suits me and just looks so stylish, a nice boyfriend style watch and diamante earrings are great for everyday. A statement necklace is a new season piece which can be dressed up for day or evening.
